Because not every pet owner strictly follows the veterinary vaccination guidelines, young dogs and cats, especially those are not vaccinated, are highly susceptible to common infectious diseases, which can be fatal if not being treated properly. In Vietnam there are vaccines to prevent these following diseases: <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>For dogs:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Canine distemper caused by canine distemper (CD) virus.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Infectious canine hepatitis caused by canine adenovirus type 1 (CAV-1).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Respiratory disease caused by canine adenovirus type 2 (CAV-2).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Canine parainfluenza caused by canine parainfluenza (CPiV) virus.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enteritis caused by canine coronavirus (CCV), canine parvovirus (CPV and CPV-2c).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leptospirosis caused by <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. icterohaemorrhagiae <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L. pomona <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; can transmit to humans.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rabies <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">can transmit to humans.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Usually, a dog will receive the first dose from 6-8 week-old. Depend on many reasons, your dog will receive 2 or 3 doses every 3-4 weeks, and rabies injection at 12 weeks of age or older.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>For cats:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feline viral rhinotracheitis caused by feline herpesvirus-1 (FHV-1).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feline respiratory disease caused by feline calicivirus (FCV).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feline panleukopenia (or <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">feline distemper<\/span><b>, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">feline infectious enteritis<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) caused by feline parvovirus (FPV).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Normally, cat will receive the first dose from 8-9 week-old.
